Tokyo is a city made for walking. From Yoyogi to Harajuku, from Asakusa to Ueno, every stretch of road feels like turning the pages of a beautifully designed magazine.
I have been many times, but I still get lost each time. Not because it is hard to find my way - Tokyo’s streets are strict and clear - but because I want to turn into every small alley.
The white steam rising from ramen shops, the blue light of convenience-store refrigerators, the gust of compressed air when a train enters the station - none of these can be fully held in a single photograph. So I took many, hoping that, pieced together, they might still bring back the rhythm of breathing from that moment.
